2008 XL - Line return

Moving back to Mac with Office 2008 after some years with PCs using 2002
(which I shall continue to use but probably with a more recent Office).



Is there a 2008 Mac equivalent of the PC XL Ctrl/Return when typing in a
cell to give a line return within the cell?

You can find keyboard shortcuts in Help ("Excel keyboard shortcuts")

From the "Entering data on a sheet" section of that topic:

Start a new line in the same cell: CONTROL+OPTION+RETURN

Note that CMD-OPT-RETURN also works.
