23 August 2003, Linking Tally Data files or Manipulation thr' ODBC Driver

Hello,

Anyone tried to link Tally Data files thr' Access2000.

One could thr' its ODBC driver but it gets registered when application is
running. ie. Tally 6.3. Gets unregistered when application is closed.

I could access Tally Data files from Word's Mail Merge facility, but I want
to use this data in VB or Access for Manipulation of data.

I am developing an application that will manipulate data of Tally outside
tally in Visual Basic.
