Hi Sloan

I found the CD I originally used and sure enough the CAB
is there. FYI it is MSFT part number 099-91944

Having found the CAB, i tried to execute again the SP.
Bad news, after file extraction i now get a mesg telling
me:

Office 2003 Service pack 1 (SP1)
The Update cannot be applied
OK

On hitting OK, the SP terminates...

Can you try to install SP1 from
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...6-7CB1-4F61-837E-5F938254FC47&displaylang=en?
This will generate a set of log files that we can use to solve your problem.
These logs are not created when you install from Office Update, and will be
located in the '%temp%\ohotfix' folder. Put these log files into a Zip file
and attach in a response, and I'll take a look at them.

A couple of q`s:

1) which of the two files should i use? I am using the
larger one (the one that does not require the original
installation files) The errors I am getting are using
this file

2) where do I find the '%temp%\ohotfix' folder?
