24 hour clock

After re-installing Office, I can¹t seem to make Entourage work in the
24-hour clock mode.

I¹ve been to the International settings in the System Preferences and
switched the clock to 00-23.

However, after a re-start the times in Entourage remain in the AM-PM mode.

Any assistance would be much appreciated.

Make sure you change the format for the short, medium, long and full
time formats.

I don;t remember which is used by Entourage, but I got bitten the same
way a while ago and that corrected it,

Thank-you for the suggestion, it's a good one.

However, despite changing the hour to 00-23 in all the settings in the
Custom section of the time of the International settings of the System
Prefs; and despite deleting the AM/PM - Entourage doesn't seem to want to
switch out of the 12 hour/AM-PM mode.

Any idea what else might need to be changed?

Really I don't have any other clue.
Maybe you have a corrupted System pref that Entoruage fails to read :-\

In my experience, the format was indeed read from System
prefs>International>Format.

Test Entourage in a new User. Go to System Preferences and create a new
User. Open Entourage there and see if the seeing stick. If not, then it¹s a
system wide problem and you need to consider an Archive & Install. I would
try the Apple Combo updater first to see if it will overwrite the problem
file. Note: even though you are updated running the combo updater can
overwrite problem files.

If it does work in the new User, then I would trash all of my Microsoft
preferences to see if that will help. It could be a system file though and
finding it would be time consuming.
