2k update

I try to run the updater for Office 2k from MSoft but it
fails part way through. It says I could be missing MSP
files. What should I do?

For a possible solution, see my response to Steve's 11/12
posting "data1.msi". Run a cleanup utility and uninstall
Office 2000. Then reinstall it. As Microsoft indicates,
this solution is applicable only for Windows Installer
Versions 1.1 and earlier.

Post whether or not this works.
