2nd BMP disappearing in mail merge documents(docx only) and word hangs

Processor: Power PC

Starting mail merge using a new document, only the first embeded BMP-logo appears, the second are lost. After some seconds word hangs.
This concerns docx merging result to a single new document. Direct printing and under doc it's working fine.

Correcting done for access privileges and rebuild plists

Operatingsystem: Mac OS X 10.6 (Leopard)
RAM 8 GB
Microsoft Word 2008 für Mac
Version 12.1.3 (080930)
Last update installed: 12.1.4
