2nd guest book

Don

Is it possible to add a 2nd guest book? I'm running a second website off
the first one and I'd like to have people sign separate guest books.
Thanks,
Don........

Yes
- the 2nd site should be a subweb if on the same server IP address

Okay. Right now it's like this;
firstwebsite.com/2ndwebsite
Does that look right?

Also, I added a 2nd guest book and just changed the name but all the
messages from the first guest book are there as well. I've kind of been
afraid to delete them from the 2nd guest book because I'm worried they will
also be deleted from the first guest book.
Can you offer some suggestions?
Thanks,
Don.............

Does your host support subwebs?

If so, right click on the folder 2ndwebsite and choose "Convert to Web"
Then redo the guestbook properties, ensuring the guestlog.htm is in
2ndwebsite/_private folder, and NOT in 1stwebsite/_private folder.

Yes I can add subwebs although I don't know how to do that.
Right now I have a website and within that website is a link for "New
Individuals" ( a band I play in). So a person would go to the main website,
Gourdgeouscreations.com, and then find a link called "Favorite Sites" click
on it and then choose "New Individuals".
I really hate to ask but I will anyhow. How do I create a subweb for "New
Individuals" and then how I would I create a separate Guestlog for it?
I also looked at my folder _private. I don't see anything in this folder.
My guestlog is under the www.gourdgeouscreations.com and listed as
guestbook.htm (actually I see another one right below this and it's titled
"Guestbook.htm and then there is also guestlog.htm). I created a guestbook
and I named it NIguestbook.htm, thinking that would make it different. I
found out it didn't.
So there's everything I can tell you. Would you mind helping me get this
straightened out?
In any event thanks for your response and help,
Don..............

Create a Folder named NewIndividuals
- note the folder name Can not have spaces in it!
Right click it to convert it to a subweb
The double click it to open the subweb and add pages, etc
The new web would be access thru
http://www.gourdgeouscreations.com/NewIndividuals/
