2nd post -- Office SP2 doesn't install

I've got Word 2000 and Excel 2000 on XP Home. I have the disks from
Microsoft to install Office SP1, SP2, and SP3. I managed to get Word
& Excel updated to SR1. I tried to install Office SP2. When I click
on Word or Excel, About, it still says they are v.SR1.

How do I get Office SP2 to install? Is there a way I can check some
of the files and see if they are Office SP2?

Hi,

First of all, open any of your Office application and select Help> About MS
Office.
Does it show what are the Service Packs installed for the Office program?

I am contemplating upgrading my MS Office 2000 professional, but
am wondering if I should wait until Office 2007 is released. Does
anyone have any information on the release date?

I really only need Excel, Power Point, Publisher and Word. Would
I be better off buying these as separate items, or will Office
2007 include these as a total price that is less than I would pay
for them individually?
