2nd post Unable to view embedded gif Outlook 2002 SP3

I hope an MVP or gold member will see this.

I'm unable to view embedded gifs in emails. Despite my partner being able to
view embedded gifs, using the same Outlook format on the same computer, I
can't.

I have checked my java settings and turned off my firewall but no luck.

Is it possible that I have a corrupt Outlook profile? Will I need to
uninstall and create a new profile?

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

No help is required anymore.

I found the solution to this problem in my Advanced settings in Internet
Options in the Control Panel. I placed a tick in the 'JIT compiler for
virtual machine enabled' box in the Microsoft VM category, below the Java
(Sun) category.

I had disabled all the boxes in the Microsoft VM category when I installed
the latest Java (Sun) runtime version.
