2nd request - Office XP registration/installation question

S

Scott

I purchased Microsoft Office XP Small Business edition about
2 months ago and installed and registered it on my computer here in my
home office. I've just been given the opportunity to purchase a new
computer through a special program at my work.
My question, will I be able to install and register the Office software on
my new computer or am I stuck since I've already installed and registered
it on this older computer?
Thanks in advance.. you MVP's are wonderful!

Thanks,
Scott

Hi Scott,

MS Office XP Small Business Edition wasn't a retail
package. It was an OEM (preinstall on new PC) edition.
OEM editions are supported by the PC suppliers and
are tied to the first machine it's installed on.

Retail copies can be transferred.
