2Qs using hierarchy trees: go onto 2d pg convert outline to tree

1. I can't get the smart art hierarchy tree to go onto the second
page...does anyone know how to do this?

2. While attempting Q 1, I found that when you copy the tree and paste it in
a new doc, you get the outline version of the tree instead of the tree
itself. Now I want to know how to do it the other way around...outline to a
tree. Haven't figured that out yet so if anyone knows how to do that too, it
would be much appreciated!

Thank you!

Hi fluffyblue,

As with other 'objects'/graphics in Word documents the visible size is restricted to one printed page, even though using the
SmartArtTools=>Format->Size
control you can increase the height to larger than that of the current page and if you then save as HTML (or use the web layout
view) the 'out of sight' portions will appear in the Web document version, but not in the printed document version. [The Full
Screen reading view will, at that point, may be a bit hopeless on viewing the Org/hierarchy chart, depending on the content of the
SmartArt Graphic.

What are the steps you're following for cutting and pasting the SmartArt garphic and what view are you in? I'm not seeing the same
behavior of the item changing to only show the SmartArt Text Pane (which can be detached from the graphic)>
