3-d objects

I have 3-d cubes in my toolbar. However no 3-
d is greyed out. how can I turn this on?

Hi Janet,
It sounds like you found Word's Drawing Toolbar with 3-D options. This is
to help apply 3-D to Word's shapes (like you could in Word 2004). If you
want to apply 3-D effects to objects such as pictures and SmartArt Graphics
you should be able to when selected, go to the Formatting
Palette->QuickStyles and Effects pane->3-D Effects tab or just double-click
on these specific objects to bring our new Format dialog that contains 3-D
Format and 3-D Rotation panes. I hope you enjoy some of the great 3-D
effects (like for pictures) in Word 2008! =)
