Occasionally when I use the SUM function across a range of
worksheets, I have noticed that upon moving an individual
worksheet out and back into the range results in Excel not
including it when adding up the 3-d range of cells.
Recalcs do not help, only editing the cell with the SUM
function and re-entering it fixes the problem, and then I
must do it to all cells that are affected individually.
It is not always easy to detect, and obviously creates a
huge problem when doing analysis.
I am currently experiencing this in Excel 2000 SR-1 on
Windows XP, and I have also experienced the same problem
with at least two versions of Excel for Macintosh with
completely different spreadsheets.
Does anyone know of a resolution for this? I was not able
to find anything in Microsoft support. Thank you in
advance.
