3 decimal precision in Currency for Standard Rate?

Bruce McF

We chose to express cost for EVM, etc. in terms of "Days" rather than any
specific currency .. for simplicity .. in our development projects. We
tried highjacking an existing currency and resetting the units to "Days" ...
entering the standard rate of 0.125. (8 hours per Day). Unfortunately, all
that we tried seem to have only 2 digits of decimal precision. When we enter
0.125, MOPS 2007 seems to store this as 0.13. When that standard rate is
applied to 8 hours of work, the cost is 1.04 Days rather than 1.0 Day.

Is anyone aware of a way to have the Cost represented to 3 decimal places so
that the cost calculations would be correct? "Days" is a natural unit for
our work.

Thanks

Hi Bruce,

I'm afraid that the maxi number of decimal places for the costs in Project
is 2.
