Hi all,
After a superficial search through the forums and MS support pages I
couldn't find the answers to these three questions about Outlook 2003.
1- Multiple email accounts
I have 1 Hotmail and 2 POP accounts, and would like each account to have its
own Top level folder. I.e. at the same level as the default "personal
folders". Say "Hotmail", "Pop1" and "Pop2" folders with their respective
inboxes and subfolders.
How can this be done?
2- Recovering data from previous system.
I recently reformatted the hdd to install Vista, but kept an (Acronis
TrueImage) image of the previous installation for archival purposes. Now I
want to retrieve the contacts/addresses, notes, taks and calendar that I was
using then (also Outlook 2003). No email, just these items. Which
files/folders should I look for?
In hindsight, having read the support pages I now realise that it would have
been better to first migrate these things to pst files.
But there's no going back now, so how can I find this info in the older
system's files/folders?
3- Colour-coding email messages.
Is there a simple (i.e. ne programming) way to colour-code email messages?
(apart from a super expensive plugin I found in the MSN markeplace) For
instance, could one create rules whereby email originating from certain
domains would automatically be attributed a given colour? Colouring by degree
of importance/priority would also be good.
cheers
