C
can'tlookup
Hello,
Does anyone know of a plug in for Excel 2008 for mac that will allow 3D
Referencing with the LOOKUP function. I want to build a workbook with a sheet
for each month of a year... I would like to be able to use this:
=lookup(lookup_value,'Januaryecember'!A3:A33,'Januaryecember'!F3:F33)
This function would be nested into another simple formula.
I have found that I can use this type of reference with simpler functions
like SUM, but of course currently not with LOOKUP. I have to have the
entire year on one sheet and just use simple cell references to get my
desired results... not as pretty.
I did find a function on a third party page called VLOOKUPAllSheets. The
code was there to be copied and pasted, but it's for an older for version of
Windows based Excel. Not compatible with Apple Scripts as far as I can
understand.
Thanks for any input.
