New user here. I downloaded a program. I scanned it for viruses. The icon
is on my opening screen. I click the icon and get a popup titled WinZip
Self-Extractor. I click Unzip. I get a message saying "28 files unzipped
successfully". I close the WinZip screen and click the icon again. The
WinZip screen returns. I have tried restarting the computer. I keep going
around in clircles. What next?

John,

This newsgroup is titled microsoft.public.access, which is a newsgroup for
discussing the Microsoft Access relational database software. Initially,
I'd recommend talking to whoever produced the software you've downloaded for
better instructions on how to install it, but in the Self-Extractor, I
believe there is a box that asks for what directory to extract the files to.
When you click Unzip, that is where the files go. Go there and do whatever
needs to be done to use the program, be it install it or just running it.
Again, for that, you really need to talk to the people who produced the
program you downloaded.
