Outlook 2000 / Exchange 2007

I posted this message in an Exchange forum and was told to ask in here.

How do I change the "Show this address list first" which is located in
Services / Addressing globally for all of the PC on our network?

I'm attempting to change it from the current setting of "Global Address
List" without having to visit all of the workstations. I downloaded the
Outlook 2000 Group Policy Template but I wasn't able to find how to set it
through it.

Does it make sense to "enforce" this setting? Doesn't it make more sense to
publish instructions with recommended defaults for end-users? Seems like
this should be a personal preference.

FWIW,

Ron

Why even bother replying if you aren't going to answer the question. I
wasn't seeking suggestions on possible solutions to a problem. I was seeking
an answer to a specific question. I could say much more but since I'm a good
person I won't.

I don't think what you're hoping to do is possible without
scripting/programming.
Take a look at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/313799 (article applies to
Outlook 2002).
You may want to pick up Sue Mosher's book, "Configuring Microsoft Outlook
2003" (ISBN: 1555583261). Specifically, take a look at chapter 9,
Configuring Other Outlook Options. The section Mail-profile-specific
Settings discusses Outlook Address Book Order. The book talks about changing
this setting programmatically, though you would likely need to adjust for
Outlook 2000. See listing 9.1 on page 331. For a book preview, visit
