4 identical reports on page

I have report that I want to print in a booklet, each page being 1/4 of a
8x11 sheet of paper. The report spans about 60 pages, so I'm looking at
putting multiple subreports in a main report. However, when I do this, the
top 2 subreport will populate the entire page and the bottom two subreports
are not seen at all. Am I doing something wrong or is it not possible to do
what I'm trying. I can do two side by side by copying and pasting, but over
100 booklets, that is a lot of extra paper and work. Any suggestions are
welcome

You have to be careful with the margins of both the main report and the
subreports. Having the subreports go the entire "normal" width of the page
at 8.5" will actually force another page. Typically, the true width of the
report is closer to 8.25", length closer to 10.5" Also check that your
subreports fit within the same parameters.

After that, check your can shrink and can grow properties of the subreports
as this may cause the subreports to go larger than the main report size. The
can grow and can shrink properties only affect the size verically (stretch up
and down) and not horizontally.

Final thought, instead of 4 subreports, could you create a single query to
gather all the data you need to create one report. This probably will be
much cleaner as I find working with subreports to be cumbersome when
aesthetics are involved.

Download program FinePrint
(www.fineprint.com) which acts as a Postscript printer. You give it the
appropriate settings to configure the result as a booklet, and it takes care
of the whole thing. (snip) about $50.00

If your time is worth anything, this is a bargain.
