cinerama
Hello,
I have been publishing to my web site http://cineramahistory.com for
many years using FrontPage 2000. Now when I try, I get the error
message:
The server could not complete your request. Contact your Internet
service provider or web server administrator to make sure that the
server has the FrontPage Server Extensions installed. For more
specific information, click Details.
I clicked on the Details and it says:
404 Not Found
Not Found The requested URL /_vti_bin/shtml.exe/_vti_rpc was not found
on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to
use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
Apache/1.3.37 Server at cineramahistory.com Port 80
The server says that it has FrontPage extensions installed so, why am
I getting this error message?
If I enter http://cineramahistory.com (instead of http://www.cineramahistory.com)
for the location to publish, it gives me the message:
The server you are publishing to does not have the FrontPage Server
Extensions installed, and thearefore does not support publishing via
HTTP. To continue publishing, specify a location that will work with
FTP.
Then, it allows me to publish to ftp://www.cinerama.com:21 - but that
is not the correct section.
Help!
Thanks,
Roland
