Would seem that courseGenie is one of those apps that is broken by the
security enforcements in Windows XP. I suggest that you contact courseGenie
support for a patch or workaround for the problem.

Hi Terry, Happy

We've come across this problem a couple of times now and it does seem
to be related to Windows XP Service Pack 2. We have not been able to
recreate the problem on our test machines.

The problem seems to be that for some reason the Microsoft Scripting
Runtime component has been removed (or possibly disabled in someway)
with the installation of SP2. The following link will allow you to
download the component from Microsoft, this has solved the problem in
the two previous cases.

I haven't yet been able to track down any specific information about
SP2 and the Scripting Runtime. But we will be keeping an eye on the
situation should it become more widespread.

Please feel free to email me (e-mail address removed) should you
have any questions.
