i have a number of people asking to configure Project Server 2003 so that the
scheduling tool (Project Pro 2003) uses/shows a 454 accounting calendar.
In this type of calendar, you might have the fiscal month of February
containing the 1st week of March....there are other 'fiscal' months that
include days from the following month.
I see in Project Pro 2003 that you can turn on Fiscal Years (FY) indicators
and that you can specify which month the FY starts in.....however, there is
nothing that i can find about setting up non traditional calendars for
scheduling purposes ....
Normally in these situations we set up Managed Periods in PWA as weekly
periods and so i'm not referring to this in my above discussion of scheduling
with a 454 calendar in Project Pro. Though it would be nice to be able to tie
Weekly Periods in Managed Periods to a Fiscal calendar....maybe some day?
thx.
