5-10 Delay in displaying folders from MS Office application...

Hello,
I have following problem with MS Office 2003.
When I browse folders (File -> Opern... ) from MS Office 2003 Word/Excel I
have 10 second delay in displaying files located in folders... This folders
contains DOC, and XLS files. I think that MS Office 2003 during displaying
files in folders read some data from files, and it's takes a lots of time.
How can I prevent MS Office from that ? or how can I speed up browsing
folders from Word, or Excel?
Browsing from notepad or othe applicaions wortks without any delays...
This problem happend around 2 weekes agoe, before Office worsk withous
delays, I don't know what's happend?
I'm looking for help with resolving this problem.

Right-click on the My Computer icon on the Windows desktop, left-click
