5 arrow limit for circular arrows marketing diagram?

Alexis

I'm trying to create a circular arrows diagram with 6 arrows. I've tried
defining custom properties to be a number instead of a fixed list and
changing the value to 6, but the diagram still only has 5 arrows. Does anyone
know how to make this work?

Alexis:
I had the same problem...and never could figure it out in Visio. I was
under the gun to get this work done (aren't we always), so here's the
work-around I did. (I'm still hoping there's an easier way in Visio, but
haven't had the time to go looking for it!)

To make a 6-arrow circular diagram, I actually went into PowerPoint (I have
2003) and made it there, then copied it over to my Visio program.

In PowerPoint, I went to 'AutoShapes' (in the Drawing toolbar), then clicked
on "Block Arrows" and chose the bottom right arrow (in the "Block Arrows"
menu that pops up, this is the arrow that looks like a complete half-circle.

You can manipulate this arrow in Powerpoint to any size you want. So change
the size to make 6 of them form one complete circle. (If possible, I'd
recommend making the whole 6-arrow diagram in Powerpoint (text, etc.),
grouping it, and then copying it over to Visio.)

I know it's a pain, but it worked for me. Still, however, looking for an
easier fix.
