Is it possible to center the text vertically in the label?

It's slightly clipping the top line and there is room on the bottom.

Yes. A "label" is just a cell in a table.

Right-click and choose "Cell alignment".

You're welcome. "Line break" or "Paragraph"? Don't confuse the two.
Paragraph marks are formatting containers that contain a style that contains
paragraph formatting, including space before and space after. A line break
contains no formatting -- it just gives you a new line.
