64 bit Office

Does office 2007 run in a 64 bit OS (XP/Vistas/Windows7)?
What I am concerned about is VBA. I thought Visual Basic was always
available for for 32bit.

Arne,

If my favorite apps runs in 32 bit mode on a 64 bit OS, way are computer
manufacturers such Dell very eager to sell a 64 bit OS.
Dell doesn't even offer a 32 bit version of Windows 7.
Does Microsoft offer a 32 bit version of version of Windows 7.

Yes, a 32bit version is available. Now that manufacturers have fully adopted
64bit architecture, I'm not entirely surprised that they're buying only
64bit OEM. Why would you want to run a 32bit OS on a 64bit capable machine?
If you haven't yet experienced the speed of Win7 64bit, you owe yourself
that pleasure.

Yes, it's called Windows on Windows 64 (WoW64).
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa384249(VS.85).aspx. It's an
evolution of Windows on Windows (WoW), which is a subsystem that allows
you to run Win16 (Win3.x) applications on Win32 operating systems (e.g.
WinNT, Win2k+, XP, Vista, 7,).

The 2007 line runs as x86 on x64 under WoW64. 2010 has a native x64
edition available, or you can run x86 on x64 under WOW64.
