7 Day week Calendar

How can i have a 7 day week calendar, with max of 8 to 10 hours per day.
Right now i am using the 24 hours calendar, with hours per day = 24, but it
increase my no of hours estimates if i estimate 1 day of task it show 24
hours, but the task actually requires only 8 hours to be done. The reason i
am using 24 hours calendar because we want to report hours worked on the
weekends, am i doing this the right way or do i need to some thing else.

You should create your own calendar for this. In MSPS 2007 I found this to
be the quickest way to do what you want.

1) Go to Tools>Change Working Time...
2) Click "Create New Calendar"
3) Copy the Standard Calendar
4) Go to the "Work Weeks" tab at the bottom of the form.
5) Click "Details"
6) Change Sunday and Saturday to be "Set day(s) to these specific working
times:" and put in 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM in the From, To
section.
