Outlook XP or Outlook 2003
Exchange 2003 SP2
Windows 2003 Server
When I reply to an email from another user on our exchange server they are
receiving the following error when trying to open the reply:
10:31:48 Synchronizer Version 11.0.8161
10:31:48 Synchronizing Mailbox 'Last Name, First Name'
10:31:48 Synchronizing server changes in folder 'Inbox'
10:31:48 Downloading from server 'exchange.domain.local'
10:31:48 The following message had an error and synchronization of it
was skipped (0x80070003):
10:31:48 "RE: This is a reply"
10:31:48 1 item(s) changed read-state in offline folder
10:31:48 Done
This started after we moved our data store from c:\program
files\exchsrvr\mdbdata
to e:\mdbdata using the instructions in kb822676. This error is occurring
when 2 other users reply to emails. All other users (200) are not having a
problem.
I have double checked the paths specified in exchange. I am not sure but
this looks like a permissions issue. I am not sure which files/folders I
should check permissions for. Can someone pleae help.
