The latest bunch of office XP updates (I think specifically KB824934) appear
to have nullified the fix 823372 - we are getting long delays again opening
docs where a template does not exist.
Anyone else had this experience and can confirm?
By the way, I am on the phone to MS support at the moment listening to hold
music, but (and this is the first time I had a bad experience with MS
support) the guy I am speaking to appears barely to understand what I am
talking about, and further, seems to be using an IP phone that cuts in and
out every 2 seconds.
