97 Access w/ Office XP

I'm trying to load Access from a legit Office 97 disk
onto a computer with Office XP on it. It loads onto the
computer just fine, but when I go to open Acces, an error
comes up saying that the program isn't licensed on my
computer. Any ideas?

I had the exact same problem. I followed the steps on
Microsoft Knowledge Base Article - 141373

It sounds like it shouldn't work, but I tried everything
and this is finally what did.
