I am not a power user of office. I just installed Office 97 pro on my new
computer and thought of checking for updates which I had not done on my old
system. How can I tell if my version has the download already? Which are
worthwhile, not worth it or what. There were over 100 downloads available.
I don't know where to begin. thanks Mickey

MS didn't offer an online check for available updates
for editions prior to Office 2000. You can go to the
Office 97 section at http://office.microsoft.com/downloads
to manually download updates for Office and in some cases
for individual Office 97 apps. This is one overview of
the Office 97 updates.
