97 to 2000 Conversion

I am trying to convert a Microsoft Access 97 database to a
Access 2000 database. After the conversion, when I try to
open the databse I get an error that says "report num$"
not a valid name. Any ideas?

Hi Kimberley,

Have you tried compiling and compacting the database in Access 97 before
you convert it? Also, if there is an object named "report num$", rename
it using just alphanumeric characters and underscore (or space if you
insist).
