97 to 2003 Freezing issue

I have a multi-user Access 97 application on NT Workstation that we have
converted to Access 2003 on XP. Everything seems to have converted fine,
however, we are experiencing the application sparatically locking up in two
scenarios. First, when a user Alt-Tabs away from the app. then Atl-Tabs
back. Second, when a specific process runs which calls two Oracle stored
procedures via Pass-thru. I have been able to confirm the second happens
after the execution of the two procedures. Again this is happening
sparatically, however, it happens often enough to be a big issue.

Any Ideas?

Access freezes when a dialog box (error message) gets hidden behind the
active form. Is that possible?
