Thank you for taking a look at this issue for us.
We are upgrading several hundred users from Access 2002 to Access 2003. The
majority of our DBs are Access 2002 format.
During testing of what will be our image system, attempts to open any of the
Access 2002 DBs from the Access 2003 app on the workstation generate an
Access internal message requesting installation of the Jet 4.0 Service Pack 8.
We downloaded and installed this SP, but continue to receive the (error)
message requesting SP8 to be installed. During the migration of our users,
we cannot convert the DB's themselves until after the last user has received
a new image.
I have looked over the last few days in several of the specific NG's here
under Access. If you feel we should post this to a more specific group,
please let me know.
This issue may push our rollout another week, unless we can resolve it
quickly. Thanks for your assistance.
