A couple of questions

- When I receive two or more e-mails, I get an incorrect number of e-mails
stated as being unread; it's always one less than there actually is. So if I
have two unread e-mails it says that I only have one.

- I don't receive the envelope icon in the taskbar when I receive new
e-mails even though I've configured it. Although I have a lot of rules that
place new mail in different folders, I understand that I've got to alter the
rule to display the envelope; how do I do that? That said, it's still not
displaying the envelope even when I receive new mail to my inbox.

- Is it possible to change the sound played when a new e-mail is received,
and if so, how can I go about it?

- I'm connected to an Exchange server for my e-mail, but each time I open
Outlook, it asks me for my password. Is there anyway to avoid it asking me
for the password? Also, how can I get Outlook to start up when my PC does?

That's more than a couple! Sounds are set in Control Panel, Sound schemes,
mail notification--not OL. You should not auto start Outlook or you'll get
errors if it starts too soon. Instead put an icon in the Quick Launch bar and
click it after everything has loaded and you are connected to the Internet.
