A Daily report for a three week period

Ok I'm not sure how to approach this query and report. Each day for the next
3 weeks we are having litters of livestock, they are not all in one shed and
each have their own nest #. We have 4200 bred females and I want a report
that shows the shed #, total of litters for day,Percentage for the day, and
grand total. An example would be like this
Day's
Date Shed 7 8 9 11 32 33 34 35 Total Total %
April 20 1 1 1
April 21 3 1 1 2 2 9 10
April 22 15 9 3 4 3 3 1 38 48
April 23 19 10 1 4 7 7 10 4 62 110 2.6

The fields I have are
Shed#
Nest#
DateBorn
Female#

Thanks for any assistance

I'm not sure how you calculate percentages but you can create a crosstab
query with DateBorn as the Row Heading, Shed as the Column Heading, and
Count(DateBorn) as the Value. You can use Count(DateBorn) as another Row
Heading.

Prefect Exactly What I wanted. never knew what a crosstab query was or used
for, goes to show how much experience I have with db's
Only one problem and I don't know if it is setup or printer. I am using a
brother hl-1050 and when I print out the query, some of the horizontal grid
lines don't print all of the vertical do. I set the format to black and show
grid lines is checked.
Now I didn't actually make a report because the query is exactly what I
want, but do I have to make a report to get the lines to print?

Thanks Blair

You might need to play around with your printer settings/options to get all
the lines to print. A google groups search on this with an author name of
lebans might find a solution from the expert.
