A desktop, a phone, and laptop ......

Hi,

I have a new user thats pretty mobile and uses his laptop as his main
workstation, but he also wants to get his exchage mail on to his Win CE phone
ASAP.

So to get it to him fast, I took his desktop PC and configured his Outlook
for him and then dropped in our cell phone carriers visto software which in
this case is called the Telus Desktop Redirectior ..... that sits there and
tosses the mail that comes in to his Outlook on the desktop to his phone and
I think it should leave all the mail from Exchange on the server there.

But he says when he starts up his laptop and connects to the office the mail
is on that desktop and it's not hitting his laptop....!

He wants the mail to still be in his laptop Outlook after it gets sent to
his phone via the Outlook on the desktop PC.

Any suggestions?

Cheers'

Are you running Exchange? If you are, you can run Exchange ActiveSync to
automatically sync his Exchange account with his mobile device without the
need for a seperate desktop.

Yep, Exchange 2003 but we don't host our own mail, it gets forward to my
exchage server via my provider, does that matter?
