A lot of problemas with PWA

I have install Project Server 2003 with SP1 (with WSS and SQL Server 2000)
without any problemas, everything OK. (The Machine is a Windows 2003 Server
with SQL Server 2000, WSS 2.0 and is member of domain).

I couldn't access TASK and PROJECTS in PWA, I was returned to front page
(not cluf page). The activex controls was install but didn't work (all view
in state 'loading data', some buttons ddidn't work, ...).

Then I install SP1 and SP2 in PS2003 (update database and wss). Then I had a
new problema, i couldn't pass cluf page and I had install activex controls
manually.

Now I cannot acces task view and project view, I have vbscripts problemas
(object or module not found). Some activex control's don't work.

I'm going to reinstall project server but I don't think this is a solution.

Any idea?

(I'm using Project Server 2003 (Spanish), SP1 and SP2 Spanish (ESN), My OS
have all updates, I probe from several pc's and the have the same problema)

Fernando:

You should upgrade MDAC on the machine that you're calling Project Web
Access from. If this doesn't solve your problem, then perhaps you've got
something else interfering with your data access from the server. This could
again be something on the client side like browser security settings, or
something on the server side like directory security on the MDAC virtual
directory, a missing or misplaced MDAC virtual directory or even IE Enhanced
security. Did you follow the installation guide very carefully?

I have create a MSADC (MDAC Virtual directory) with right permissions but
don't work, I can't view tasks, projects and updates (return homepage) and I
have some scripts error (objet or module not found) in some pages.

I install Project Server 2003 in Virtual PC Machine (Windows 2003 Enterprise
Server, without Proxy's, without firewall, ...) and I have the same problem.

Edit Site Tool pass all tests. I tried to change DSN, change MSADC site as
an excluded from the Virtual Servers Managed paths, add project server in
trusted zone with all options for activex enable and least seacurity, use a
populate database,
i don't find the error.


Do I need setup anything in IIS 6.0 or Windows 2003 Server or Iexplorer?
