A Macro that calls another macro?

Here's what I need to do. I need to create a macro that opens a list that
the user can choose a specific person from. A little background, I have
signature blocks for nine people set as autotext. I need to create a macro
that brings up a list of those nine people, that a user can choose one from.
Once the user chooses that person, it drops in the signature block for that
particular person from their autotext entry. Is this possible? And if so,
can someone steer me in the right direction?

That looks alright, but it looks like it requires a specific word as a
trigger, which I don't want to have to do. If there is a way to right click
and it pops up that list, that would be fine, but I don't want them to have
to type something, just to right click it, and choose the proper name.

Read it again... there's nothing like a "trigger" in there, and no typing is
necessary for the end user. You create the field, they just click it and
select a name from the dropdown.

Does this work even if the field isn't in a set location? For example, they
are working on a document and its a page and a half, how will it know where
the field is? Sorry I am semi-new to this stuff, and actually this would
probably be the most advanced that I have done. I appreciate your help Jay!
Let me know what you mean by "field"

I apologize. I just went back and read through the article completely --
something I haven't done for some time. You're correct in your reading, but
there's a simple adjustment.

In the numbered list of instructions under the heading "Create a pop-up list
of products", eliminate steps 12 and 13. Also eliminate the entire part
under the heading "Insert a product list in your document". Instead, when
you have completed step 11, you'll already have an AutoTextList field in the
document (the field you inserted in steps 9 through 11). Using cut (or copy)
and paste, you can position that field anywhere in the document, and you can
have more than one of them if needed. Save the document at that stage, and
distribute it to users.

For your signature application, instead of making the default text something
like "product" or "signature", I'd make it something like "Right-click here
to insert signature". Otherwise, it's difficult to distinguish the
AutoTextList default text from any other text until it's already clicked.

I still don't know if thats going to work as these documents are created
continuously. They don't use a set template for this sort of thing. Some guy
is in my office right now cutting tile, so I am losing my mind. I will take
a look at this more when I can actually think. Thanks for the quick response
though Jay, I appreciate it!
