A Net Folder as a Calendar

I have a user who created a shared net folder as a calendar. She granted
several people permission to the folder. It has been working for a while but
all of the sudden she created an appointment that duplicated itself 20 times
and then another appointment duplicated itself as well. Is there anyway to
get rid of the duplicates only leave one calendar appointment
