A "new" Access 97 & Office 2000 problems

I have a problem with the coexistence of these two
versions on a w2k workstation if the user is NOT logged in
as an administrator.
Access97 works fine after a fresh install, but once
Access2000 is used, the following message appears when
Access97 is launched afterwards.

"Microsoft Access was unable to initialize the windows
registry"

This appears to be an across the board problem. All
affected workstations are fresh install W2k SP4, Office97
Sr2 and office 2k SP3. My own workstation is similar spec
and fully updated but does not have this problem.

Any ideas gratefully received etc

happy xmas!

Thanks for the pointer, it seems domain user accounts were
affected and local workstation accounts OK, so I've added
the "Users" group to the domain accounts to grant
additional local priviliges and we are back in business
again! Whether this is coincidental I don't care it's
working now!

Many thanks

Terry
