A nice easy question ...

Hi there

Am having a blank moment (one of many)! I am using an
Access database as my data source. In the database I have
check boxes indicating a yes/no answer. I want to be able
to say that if the checkbox is ticked do one thing and if
not do another. For the life of me I cannot work out how
to define whether the check ox is ticked or not. This is
the field code I'm using:

{ IF {MERGEFIELD Existing_User } = 1 "True" "False" }

I have also tried replacing the figure 1 with 'true'
and 'yes'.

Can anyone help me, please?

Many thanks.

Have cracked this. The answer is that the value should
be -1 (True). How did I work this out? I merged the
field into the document and looked at the result. Now why
didn't I think of that before?

Thanks anyway to anyone who was going to help.
