A Question About Setting Up Identities

In OE I was able to set up an alternate identify that I used with an email
address for all commercial purposes, and avoid all the commercial trash
filling up my inbox. I have just switched to Outlook, and was wondering if
there is any way of doing this with Outlook. thanks-skip

you can set up multiple accounts within one outlook profile or create
multiple profiles... control panel, mail to create additional profiles.

I there a way to switch profiles without having to log back into Outlook?

No. you need to close outlook and choose the other profile when you reopen
it.
