You can't convert an mdb to an exe. The best you could do is make your mdb
and mde, which removes any written code and limits the capabilities to the
user. You still need to keep the mdb as this is your master source.
You need to have the runtime lic. for MS Access. You can
distribute this. The runtime allows you to put "access"
on an end users machine to run the application. It is not
an exe but the distribution is. I suggest you look at
sagekey.com. They sell Wise Installer scripts to
distrubute runtime access.
You greatly improve your chance of getting someone to look at your question,
thus your chance of getting a useful answer, if you summarise the topic in
your subject line. For other good suggestions on effective use of
newsgroups, see the FAQ at http://www.mvps.org/access/netiquette.htm.
You can get more information on the Office Developer Edition at http://www.microsoft.com/office/developer/suite/fastfacts.asp. You will need
the Developer Edition to obtain the runtime support software and the license
to distribute it, even if you use third-party software and scripts to create
your distribution package.
