a report in a different dbase

I have a report that will be used by two separate departments for outreach
(intake, and outreach). From the outreach access database I want a button on
a form to open a report found in the intake access database. I think this
can be done by using shell but am not sure what should go in the parameters
to open a said report. I understand the simplist way would be to just
import same report into the outreach access database but I am trying to
eliminate redundancy.

I think you might want one of the microsoft.public.access newsgroups.
