a required installation file sku011.cab could not be found

I am unable to open Excel without getting this error message. I have had
Office 2003 loaded on my PC for at least 2 years without this problem.

I have the original CD, but it has not solved my problem.

I could use some guidance.

Would uninstalling and reinstalling cause me to loose any data?

This is the type of response that would make those who lack the knowledge
feel less inclined to post a problem looking for a potential solution.

A system restore has appeared to have done the trick.

I looked at some of your posts in the past. It appears that you volunteer
your time to help others a lot! One word of advice, not all posters are
ignorant, uneducated and otherwise scum of the earth. At times, a little
more consideration and compassion for those who feel helpless would be
appreciated.
