A template for a rough draft

It's been awhile and my daughter has a big project at school and I have
forgotten how to do a rough draft and what actually goes in them. Can anyone
please help. She's only 10 years old.

A rough draft is just that, a rough draft. If it is say a report on George
Washington, then just write it. It's just the process of getting the
information/research/story/etc. into a regular format of sentences,
paragraphs, etc. instead of just notes.
