A user -> a resource [2007]

Robert

Hi,
I created a user in Active Directory (with a Windows account) and i tried to
convert this user as a resource in the Resource Center. But I get the
message : "The resource name is already in use. You must select a unique
name for the resource". I checked ten times that this resource doesn't exist
in the Resource Center.
What can be the problem?
Thanks

Go back to the Manage Users page and edit the user. Select the "User can be
assigned as a resource" option. Make sure that you have entered a Windows
user account for this person and then click the Save button. Hope this
helps.

Go to PWA>Server Settings>Manage Users and see if the user shows up there?
You can do a partial name search as well if you have many users to filter
through. If you do find the user, check the box next to the user and click
on the user name to go into the details of that user, then check the box
next to "User can be assigned as a resource". This will convert the user
into an Enterprise Resource.

Hope this helps,

Jonathan
