A what, come on finish the sentence!

This morning whilst typing in Publisher I typed the word "A" and immediately came onto the screen "what, come on finish the sentence!" I tried a word document and the same thing is happening there. I've run a Virus scan and that came up negative. Has anybody else seen this anomaly before?
