A1, A2, B1, B3

I am attempting to get Outlook 2003 Task List to work like a Franklin Planner
so that I can prioritize my task with a letter and number such as A1, A2, B1,
B2, C1, C2

How can this be done so it sorts first by letter then by number?

That's the way Outlook would sort any text field. Did you create a custom text field to hold these priorities?
